Compare a displayed code with manufacturer category or family guidance. A brand match does not establish that the code applies to your model. Ambiguous displays show every recorded interpretation.
Check the display before searching
Keep letter case and spacing when possible. Codes such as dC, DE, and E17 can be model or context sensitive.
Search the catalog
Choose an appliance and brand, then enter the display exactly as shown.
How results are ranked
The tool matches the appliance, brand, and code after removing spaces and punctuation. An exact display match appears first, but other documented interpretations remain visible. A model entry is a manual starting point only; there are currently no verified exact-model code assignments.
What to do with a match
Open the official source and exact model manual. If the code appeared during a diagnostic test, use the test instructions for that model. If gas, smoke, water near electricity, or severe overheating is involved, read the safety guidance first.
